We were so excited to meet Josie Love at the airport! She looked great! Josie had on the cutest monogrammed dress. When someone mentioned it to Mike, he responded, "She has a name...she has a name." I understand what he means: this precious girl, the "least of these," now has a forever home and family. She has a name! And she is beautiful!

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I am new at this, so it is exciting when someone comments. Blogs are such a great way to get connected with other people. I think I have heard about you and Asher through other blogs. It is nice to know who you are. I am actually from Birmingham too. My husband's famliy is mostly from AL, but he grew up in Atlanta. All the DeBardeleben's are related, but I don't think Dee knows them. Where in Birmingham did you grow up? I went to Briarwood Highschool. I will probably be asking you a lot of questions. Thanks for making yourself available to me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a reception for Josie Love! As much as I would have loved a big ol' group hug from friends, the Lord knew what He was doing. 3 out of 5 boys were airsick both flights home. ugh. ;o)
ReplyDeleteGood to see your smiling face and Asher's as well. Hope all is beginning to settle down for your family.
